Printed advertisement with family group in a domestic setting, father seated smoking a pipe, young girl on his knee, mother standing next to young boy: “Hamilton-Brown Shoes” / “Solid Leather Footwear”/ “Always Keep the Quality Up” Newspaper column, “Do You Remember” printed June 1957 identifies the Stephens store: “On the corner of Union and Broad Street, there was a general store run by John Ellingsworth, later by William H.
